To reach Il Noce coming from the Highway A1 exit at
Firenze-Certosa and get immediately into the 'superstrada' (toll-free
highway) to Siena. Exit at S. Casciano (it is the first exit you
will find) and follow the signs for S. Casciano. As you reach the
village keep on the street you are coming from until you find the
signs for Mercatale on your left. Mercatale is about 6 km from S.
Casciano. Once in Mercatale you will find a crossing: keep the right
(you shall not go to the centre). After about 200 metres you will
see on the right the 'Banca del Chianti Fiorentino' and the
'Ceramiche Ceccarelli' shop. Turn immediately on the right and take
Via Poggio Borgoni. The land road leads to the entrance of the
owner's villa, which has the number 79. Go to the right following
the street which ends in the farm's court.
